COVID-19 UPDATE – Emergency Response

• Avada Environmental Ltd. continues to closely monitor the global outbreak of the novel strain of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
• Given the developing situation and in the interest of placing paramount importance on the health and safety of Avada employees and clients, we have assembled a team who are communicating daily to evaluate developments as and when they occur.  We are using government and health authority recommendations to issue guidance to our staff and clients.  We aim to ensure that in any oil emergency situation we are in the best position to be of assistance.
• To continue a proactive approach to slow the spread of the virus, jobs are being handled on a limited case by case basis. We are suspending any civils and remediation works (if not emergency works) but will be carrying out site walkovers, investigations and emergency response to oil spill and vapour release (installation of VEUs).  We will do our utmost to give you peace of mind in these already very challenging times.
• Avada employees who are able to work remotely have been encouraged to do so.  Essential employees will continue to work from home but are fully contactable via the office number which has been set up to divert all incoming calls.  We remain focused on making progress on our emergency high-impact work while ensuring the safest situation for all.
